Sitharaman Refutes Mamata’s ‘Mic Off’ Claim at NITI Meet”

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee left a NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday. She claimed that her microphone was deliberately turned off when she began discussing the allocation of funds for the state.

She said, “While I was speaking, my microphone was turned off. I asked why they stopped me and accused them of discrimination. I was attending the meeting, but instead of being happy about it, they gave more attention to Sitharaman Mamata NITI Meet their own party and government. As the only opposition representative present, I felt they were preventing me from speaking. This is not just an insult to Bengal, but to all regional parties.”
