Meeting ke baad X (pichle Twitter) par PM Modi ne post kiya, “Mr. Young Liu, Chairman of Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) se milke accha laga. Maine India ke futuristic sectors mein diye ja rahe shandar opportunities ko highlight kiya. Humne unke India mein Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, aur Andhra Pradesh jaise states mein investment plans par bhi achi discussions ki.”

Foxconn, jo Apple ke liye major supplier hai aur global iPhone manufacturer bhi hai, India mein apni operations ko expand kar raha hai. Company ke Tamil Nadu ke iPhone factory mein ab 40,000 se zyada log kaam kar rahe hain, aur unhone kai states mein naye facilities mein substantial investments announce kiye hain.

Tamil Nadu mein, Foxconn ne ek naye electronics components unit ke liye Rs 1,600 crore invest karne ka agreement sign kiya hai, jisse 6,000 se zyada jobs create honge.

Telangana mein, Foxconn apni manufacturing facility mein additional Rs 3,300 crore invest karne ka plan bana raha hai, jisse state mein unka total investment Rs 4,550 crore se zyada ho jayega.
