IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus will start offering undergraduate courses from September.

IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus will start two undergraduate programs in September. They will admit 60 students: 20 will be selected based on their JEE (Advanced) 2024 scores, and the remaining 40 will be chosen through a new entrance exam called the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET).

A total of 60 students will be admitted to the new undergraduate programs at IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus. This includes 20 students selected based on their JEE (Advanced) 2024 scores and 40 chosen through the new Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET). Of the 40 CAET seats, 20 are reserved for UAE nationals, while the other 20 are for expatriates in the UAE and international students.

Director Rangan Banerjee also highlighted that the Abu Dhabi campus is working to strengthen ties with industry and partners throughout the UAE and Gulf region, with plans for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship initiatives. Additionally, efforts are underway to establish a permanent campus, and faculty members from the Delhi campus are being assigned to Abu Dhabi as part of a selection process approved by the board.
