How Argentina’s Julian Alvarez could ‘complete’ football at Paris
At just 24 years old, Julian Alvarez stands on the verge of ‘completing’ his football career. He has the chance to achieve this over the next few weeks by competing for an Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024.
Less than two years ago, Alvarez was part of the Argentina team that won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Shortly after, he secured a treble with Manchester City in his debut season, capturing the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League. This achievement made him the first player ever to become both a world champion and a domestic treble winner in the same season.
Additionally, Alvarez has won the Copa America and the Finalissima. With few major titles left to claim, he is close to having an almost complete set of football honors.
