A district-level one-day workshop on HIV/AIDS was organized in the conference hall of the CMO Office under the chairmanship of District Program Officer Dr. Sunil Verma. Health supervisors, pharmacists, and community health officers from all blocks of the district attended the event. Dr. Sunil Verma provided detailed information about HIV/AIDS, explaining that HIV is a virus that damages the immune system, and AIDS is a condition that can develop in people infected with HIV. He also discussed sexually transmitted infections and provided information about the HIV/AIDS (Act) legislation, which aims to provide protection to those affected by and living with HIV.

He further explained that the National AIDS Control Organization has developed the 95:95:95 strategy to make India AIDS-free. According to this strategy:

1. **95%** of people living with HIV should know their HIV status.

Dr. Verma also noted that Hepatitis B is more infectious than HIV and suggested that all health workers in the district should undergo a Hepatitis B test annually. He added that health camps will be organized at the block level, where tests for HIV, blood pressure, diabetes, hemoglobin, non-communicable diseases, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, STIs, TB, and other conditions will be conducted.
