On Friday, North Korea launched several short-range ballistic missiles into the sea off its east coast, according to South Korea’s military. This event followed joint air combat drills conducted by the U.S. and South Korea using stealth fighter jets the previous day.

 

According to a government official cited by Japan’s public broadcaster NHK, it appears that a short-range missile was launched and has already fallen.
