**”Lucknow se apni pehli flight pakad kar Chennai pohanchna aur IIT Madras join karna mere liye ek zabardast rollercoaster journey rahi hai. Main Uttar Pradesh ke ek chhote se gaon se hoon. Mere parents educated nahi hain, lekin unka apne bachon ko educated dekhne ka junoon ne hamesha mujhe inspire kiya.
Babupur, Sitapur se hoon, aur mujhe yaad nahi aata ki mere parents kabhi gaon se bahar gaye hoon. Mere father ek kisan hain aur meri mother ghar ka kaam sambhalti hain. Mere chhote bhai aur behen Class 12 aur Class 3 mein hain, aur meri badi behen shaadi shuda hain.
Main ab IIT Madras mein civil engineering mein BTech kar raha hoon. Civil engineering ka scope mujhe zyada pasand nahi hai, lekin maine college ko course par prefer kiya. IIT Madras ke alumni association aur iski legacy ne mujhe yeh choice banane par majboor kiya. Mujhe JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling ke baare mein kuch pata nahi tha, isliye maine pehli seat allotment ke baad freeze option use kiya aur admission le liya.
**JEE Preparation**
Ek close friend ne mujhe JEE Main aur Advanced ke liye motivate kiya. Uska IITs ke opportunities par bharosa dekhkar mujhe inspiration mili. Usne mujhe Kota, Rajasthan chalne ke liye kaha, lekin meri financial situation ne mujhe wahan bhejne se roka. Mujhe pata tha ki mere father ke liye itna paisa bhejna mushkil hoga.
Maine Class 11 se JEE ki preparation shuru ki, jisse mujhe physics, chemistry, aur mathematics mein strong foundation banane ka time mila. Maine apne Class 10 exams Babu Ram Savitri Devi Inter College se aur Class 12 exams Prakash Vidhya Mandir Inter College se diye. Dono Hindi-medium schools hain UP Board ke under.
English mere liye ek nayi language thi, isliye maine JEE ko English mein attempt kiya. Isliye mujhe concepts grasp karne mein extra effort dena pada. Maine ek well-organised study schedule follow kiya, schoolwork ke saath balance banaya aur regular problem-solving aur mock tests kiye.
**IIT Madras Mein Shuruat**
Meri classes IIT Madras mein November 2021 se shuru hui thi, lekin Covid-related restrictions ke karan main 2022 mein institute join kar paaya. Main apne Lucknow ke dost aur uske father ke saath IIT Madras aya. Yeh meri pehli flight thi. Mere parents mere saath nahi aaye kyunki flight fare high tha.
Initial days mein classes aur doston se adjust karna bahut mushkil tha. Classes English mein hoti thi aur mujhe kuch words aur science concepts samajhne mein problem hoti thi.
Maine IIT Madras mein web operations club join kiya, jahan maine 20-member WebOps team ke saath web development frameworks aur technologies par kaam kiya. Maine backend aur databases ke baare mein bhi seekha aur institute ke web operations team mein coordinator ke roop mein kaam kiya. Main IIT Madras ke student portal ke backend development mein involved raha.
**‘IIT Madras Mein Communication Skills Develop Kiye’**
IIT Madras mein padhai ne mujhe kaafi transform kiya hai. Yahan ka collaborative environment ne meri teamwork aur communication skills ko sharp kiya, jo mujhe group settings mein zyada effective banata hai. IIT ki diverse opportunities, jaise internships aur competitions, ne mujhe alag-alag fields se expose kiya, meri knowledge ko broaden kiya aur personal aur professional growth ko enrich kiya. Overall, IIT ne mujhe ek well-rounded aur capable individual banane mein madad ki.”**
