Earlier on Thursday, Scott was seen with Quavo at the Olympics men’s basketball semifinal between Team USA and Team Serbia.

This recent arrest in Paris marks the second time in a few months that Travis Scott has faced legal trouble. Back in June, the Houston rapper was taken into custody in Miami following an incident at a marina. According to online records, Scott was booked at a Miami-Dade County correctional center on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication.

The Miami arrest stemmed from a disturbance on a yacht where people were reportedly fighting. When police arrived at the scene, they observed Scott standing by the dock and shouting at those on the vessel. The arrest affidavit detailed that Scott did not follow officers’ instructions to sit down and appeared to be heavily intoxicated, as his breath strongly smelled of alcohol.

The situation in Paris involved Scott allegedly attacking a security guard at the luxury Georges V hotel. The guard was trying to break up a fight between Scott and his bodyguard. French prosecutors confirmed that Scott, 33, was arrested for “unspecified violence,” and an investigation is ongoing.

Scott’s representative stated they are working with local Parisian authorities to resolve the matter quickly. Earlier that day, Scott had been seen at the Olympics men’s basketball semifinal between Team USA and Team Serbia, seated with Quavo. This series of incidents highlights ongoing legal and personal challenges for the rapper.

Police say they told Travis Scott to leave the marina, and he initially complied but soon returned. They saw him walking back toward the yacht, yelling, and acting erratically, which disturbed the marina and nearby residents. He was then taken into custody.

In May, reports from People and Entertainment Tonight covered a fight between Travis Scott and Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, Cher’s boyfriend, in Cannes.

At a private party after the Cannes Gala, there was a fight involving Edwards, Scott, and others. The altercation followed a performance by Tyga and the “Butterfly Effect” rapper. Edwards is friends with Tyga, while both Scott and Tyga have dated Kylie Jenner. Details about who started the fight or why it happened are unclear.
